FAA Compliance & Safety

FAA COMPLIANCE:

Compliance & safety is a key aspect of the commercial drone industry and also a major focus for our business to ensure that we don’t put our clients at risk.  I will provide copies of my UAS pilot license, drone registration, and certificate of insurance prior to the project.  We want our clients to rest assured that they are hiring a professional service that understands the rules and regulations set forth by the FAA.

Certification by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is required to fly drones commercially – including drones for photography and video footage.
I am an FAA-certified drone pilot who earned my Remote Pilot Certificate after passing the FAA’s test and completing a course to learn the FAA’s Small Unmanned Aircraft Regulations (Part 107), along with the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Airman Certification Standards.

INSURANCE:

At the end of the day, all serious UAV pilots have liability insurance. It’s a strong, credible indicator for your business prospects. Insurance shows that you’re professional and reputable.

Different levels of liability insurance coverage (up to $10,000,000) is available through Verifly Insurance Services Inc.

Verifly delivers aviation insurance policies for lightweight unmanned aircraft, purchased by the pilot at the time of operation or scheduled in anticipation of a flight.  Policies are issued by one or more member companies of Global Aerospace Pool through Global Aerospace, Inc.
